Summary: Dear lord, this year was just full of folks trying to cash in on James Cameron's "The Abyss". As if horrid body-snatchers and prehistoric crustaceans weren't enough, we now have psychic stingrays.

History: Most of mankind's finest is at the bottom of the ocean trying to find ways to improve the polluted surface. But what they don't realize is that someone, or something, got there first. Large stingray-like aliens dominate the sea's bottom, and some unlucky humans are being turned into them, or suffering bad visions down there.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, after all the chaos the aliens cause, the entire crew is brought into one's psyche, where they can look forward to much enlightenment.

Powers/Abilities: Instilling near-prophetic visions into people, converting others into slime and then other aliens.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Admittingly, seeing them come at you with those red eyes and array of powers is no picnic. However, they aren't totally vicious, and they can even look rather adorable from some angles. Some angles, keep in mind.

Trivia: -A lot of the characters in this film were named after the New York Mets.

-The goo featured in this film was actually just glitter slime made from guar gum.
